Does your hair porosity matter and how often should you use ricewatergirl?

- Yes, but it matters in the sense of how long and when you should use ricewatergirl. This product is great for ALL hair types, textures and porosity when used properly. This is how often you should use ricewatergirl based on your hair porosity: 

Low: Once every 2-4 weeks for 10 to 30 minutes as tolerated.

Medium: Once every 2-3 weeks for up to 2 days as tolerated.

High: Once every 2-3 weeks for 24-48 hours as tolerated.

How do I know what my hair porosity is?

Low: Your hair floats on top of the water. Use RWG every 4-6 weeks for 10-30 minutes as tolerated. This amount of time can decrease or increase after you observe your hair’s moisture retention with consistent use of RWG.

Medium: Your hair sinks slowly to the bottom. Use RWG every 2-3 weeks for up to 2 days as tolerated. This amount of time can decrease or increase after you observe your hair’s moisture retention with consistent use of RWG.

High: Your hair sinks quickly to the bottom. Use RWG every 2-3 weeks for 24-48 hours as tolerated. This amount of time can decrease or increase after you observe your hair’s moisture retention with consistent use of RWG.

How to remain consistent while using ricewatergirl or ricewatermale?

- In order for this product to work, consistency is key. Rice water (especially with the special ingredients we've added to it) can be a remarkable way of naturally growing your hair at an accelerated rate. With your personal hair goals in mind and the desire to have healthier, longer, and stronger hair you can build motivation to remain consistent. We recommend setting a reminder to order your next bottle of ricewatergirl or ricewatermale in enough time to use it every 3 weeks for medium/high porosity hair and 8 weeks for low porosity. 

Do you wash your hair before or after using ricewatergirl or ricewatermale?

- Both, you want to shampoo and condition your hair prior to applying ricewatergirl or ricewatermale. Once it has set in your hair, you want to rinse it out extremely well with cool water and conditioner afterwards.

What does ricewatergirl and ricewatermale smell like?

- ricewatergirl and ricewatermale both have a signature citrus scent. Each bottle will have orange zest at the bottom to increase the citrus aroma.

When is the best time to use ricewatergirl or ricewatermale?

- You can use ricewatergirl or ricewatermale at anytime as long as you allow the product to remain in your hair for the allotted amount of time you choose (up to 2 days). 

How do you know if you are using ricewatergirl or ricewatermale correctly?

- You are using ricewatergirl correctly if your roots are saturated and you brought the rice water from root to tip. You also want to make sure you massage the product in well.* 

- You are using ricewatermale correctly if your hair is saturated and massaged in well.*

*Massaging in the product will promote hair growth even further and increase hair thickness.

Does ricewatergirl work for all hair types?

- Absolutely, ricewatergirl is intended for all hair types to use.

Once I receive the product, how long does it last?

- 3 Days if kept at room temperature and 5 days if kept refrigerated.
